Due to some specific requirements for themes hosted on WordPress.org, the Weaver Version 2.2 theme does not support full file Save/Restore functionality on some sites without using the Weaver File Access Plugin. This restriction is fairly uncommon. You will get a message on the Weaver Admin panel if your system is affected.
Simply download the plugin, install on your site, and then activate it. Weaver 2.2 will then work on your system.
You can install the plugin in one of three ways.
- Easiest. Open the Plugins->Add New menu on your Dashboard. Enter “Weaver File Access Plugin” into the search box. Select that plugin to add, add it, and activate it. All done. Easy.
- Download plugin zip file from WordPress.org.
- Download plugin file zip from WPWeaver.info.
If you download the .zip file instead of using the version at WordPress.org, you’ll have to go the the Plugin Add New page, click upload, then specify the file you downloaded.
